Our trip to Middletown was long and hard, but otherwise fairly unremarkable. We rode through one small town after the next. Luckily, the terrain wasn’t terribly tough, and the the winds were with us. One thing that really slowed us down was the prevalence of stoplights. On our bike, stopping at a light means we have to push hard to get the bike back up to speed.
